We attended IEEE VIS 2014 held in Paris, France from Nov 8 to 15th, and Hyungsuk Choi, 2nd year MS student in our lab, gave his podium presentation. IEEE VIS is the top conference for Visualization and this is the first VIS paper co-authored by my students. Good job, HVCL!
Tran Minh Quan, 3rd year PhD student, attended IEEE Int’l Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) 2014 in Paris to present his work about fast wavelet transform on the GPU. Our lab is selected as an NVIDIA CUDA research center for the first time in Korea. We received a Tesla K40 GPU as a part of award, and are expecting further collaboration with NVIDIA for top-notch GPU research.
